THE FESTIVAL EDITION

Behind the lavender/air-freshener note, it is sweet, rich,  fruity (a combination of exotic fruits like mango, passionfruit and dried fruits), malty and scented – smoky on the nose.  A good texture; sweet taste with a belt of smoke (especially  in the younger expressions), and still this lingering perfume. Medium-bodied.

Framing a moment in
time

Each year, during the last week of May, Islay welcomes devotees of the island, and its whisky, to its shores.
Fèis Ìle celebrates the history and culture of this truly unique corner of the world. We come together through music, entertainment, and of course the whisky for which we are rightly celebrated.

As part of the Fèis ìle festival we open our distillery gates, inviting the committed and the curious to explore our craft. We offer experiences, tastings, and a true immersion into the unforgettable and infinitely complex world of Bowmore single malt whisky.

In celebration of Fèis ìle 2024 we released a 19-year aged Limited Edition Bowmore. Deep and rich in colour, this captivating edition is double matured in virgin American oak barrels. Its complex array of sweet and creamy notes evokes the very soul of the festival, resolving to a
caramelised taste and a gently smoky finish.

A remarkable homage to an extraordinary gathering.
