Much like the devil, this spirit took its own unusual journey, including the completion of its transition in a peculiarly rare ‘Rose Oak’ barriques dating back to the 1830s. A distinctive and powerful single malt whisky, offering a deep, rich taste exploration.

TASTING NOTES

Out of focus golden hues with shadows of barely

COLOUR

Golden barley.

A fusion of golden brown and honey hues.

NOSE

Incense, beeswax and a struck match.

Dripping liquid with warm golden tones

PALATE

Golden syrup, acacia honey and marzipan.

An intense mix of dark and fiery red hues resembling cinders

FINISH

Wisps of peat, enveloping stewed figs and port.

Warming brown and amber hues suggestive of casks

AGING

After 21 years in American oak hogsheads, two further years in Essencia® barriques have matured this complex single malt to perfection.
